| Mason & Hamlin Deluxe Console
|
Right after World War II there was a tremendous housing boom, and accompanying it was a large demand for baby grand pianos. However, many of those houses were not large enough to accomodate a baby grand. Some of the better manufacturers came up with a way to make a modest sized upright piano look more "grand!" They added extra slye to the cabinet, an extra pair of legs in the rear, and, voila - A very classy, very fancy piano was born! Many of these type pianos still survice today - like this Mason and Hamlin from the early 1950's. Once this beautiful piano is in your home, it is safe to say you will have something that NONE of your neighbors have! Very rare, and very nice!
